Bridge Update

Good Morning Homeowners,

We have received notice from the City regarding the bridge.

The TxDOT dive team inspected the bridge last week and reported that the channel bed is in the same condition as the last time they dove the bridge about a year ago. If anything, there might be a slight aggradation due to depositing of sand and silt. The 2020 investigation determined that the conditions at that time were the same as the last full underwater inspection that were performed on bridge in September of 2018.

In a nutshell, the recent flooding event appears to not have affected the bridge foundations which support the span itself.

Additionally Blevins Channel has been blocked off at the bridge and will remain so until the completion of the project which is scheduled for August 2022.

Please bear with the City and TxDOT while they make modifications to the traffic and construct the bridge. This includes obeying signal lights and signal personnel.
